What to consider before you buy.

Laminar air flow vs biosafety cabinet
A laminar air flow unit protects the product from contamination. A biosafety cabinet also protects the operator and the environment, and is required when handling infectious or hazardous material.

Vertical or horizontal flow
Vertical flow is common for microbiology and keeps air off the operator. Horizontal flow gives an unobstructed work zone for some aseptic and electronics tasks.

Qualification
Clean air equipment should be tested at installation and periodically for air velocity, filter integrity and particle count. Ask us about qualification with your order.
