What to consider before you buy.

Vertical or horizontal
Vertical autoclaves suit most laboratories and take up little floor space. Horizontal autoclaves load from the front on sliding trays, which makes large or heavy batches easier and safer to handle.

Chamber capacity
Size the chamber for your largest regular load plus headroom — overloading slows steam penetration. We offer multiple capacities per model and can build custom sizes.

Chamber material
SS 304 is standard for laboratory use. SS 316 is worth considering for pharmaceutical production or corrosive loads.
- 04
Control and documentation
Microprocessor or PLC control with cycle timers makes results repeatable. If your lab follows GMP, plan for calibration and validation from day one.
